I have been busy painting again....

click to enlarge and maybe you can see the little bunny better..

What a busy last few days. We have been spending as much time as possible outside enjoying the beautiful weather God has blessed us with here in Ky. the last few days. My husband and i both love to work on making our yard look as nice as we can. I special place is out back by the pool where on accassion we do get to relax a little . Seems like we do very little of that relaxing though. Well. i guess it is good to be able to stay busy though. We have been planint flowers and i even have a few tomatoe plants this year. I though my little grandaughter would enjoy watching the tomatoes grow and she loves to eat them as well. I saw the cutest little baby rabbit today out by the playhouse and was able to get a picture. You can click to enlarge the pictures for a better look.. Also i have been working on adding new items to my shop today so stop over at shabby cottage designs and take a peek.

It is so hard to keep up with everything i have going on right but i am going to try to do a better job at posting on here. Please stop by when you can and leave a comment , it is always good to hear from my friends...

Lovin the sunshine and warm weather!

Emma and Poppa do a little coloring on the front porch!

Hi all, it has been a while since i posted here so just wanted to let ya know whats going on her with me and my family. The warm weather has arrived and it has been like 90 degrees here for the last few days. We have been working in the yard like crazy and trying to get the pool in order. When we first took the cover off the pool it looked like a swamp monster had been living in ther! Well, hubby has been working on it and has got it looking beautiful and ready for swimming. My grandaughter is ready to hit the pool and the last few days it has been great pool weather.

Also some of you may remember me posting pictures last year of the playhouse in progress? Well , i am happy to say we have about 95% completed it! yay!!!!!! Our grandaughter is 3 1/2 and when she is over here and the weather permits she is outside and playing in or around her playhouse. I am posting some pictures of it for you to see. The playhouse was made out of almost all salvaged wood. My husband tore down an old garage that had belonged to a friend piece by piece to make this and the door is a junk find as well but it is all a treasure to us. Alot of love went into this and i am thrilled to have it! What little girl didn't want a playhouse all her own , i know i did and now Emma AND Nini have one!!!!!

Now i must really get back to my painting and do a little work inside. Come by and see me anytime at Shabby Cottage Designs.com
